This was a small project where the client wanted a tidy, low maintenance space to the rear of the property. The area in question was suffering terribly from poor drainage issues. So, to combat this the ground was extensively excavated and detailed drainage work carried out.
The existing patio was extended as it simply wasn’t big enough to entertain guests. New rollout lawn was then added. Ground level flower beds were created all along the boundary fence using matching cobbles from the patio. Woodland style planting was carried out including tree ferns, anemones and smaller ground cover ferns. To hide the fence, climbing wire was run the whole way around and jasmine was trained along the wire to provide a nice backdrop of lush green foliage and white scented flowers.
